The natural cycles which turn around us in nature, also turn within us. In Spiritual Astrology there are four cycles of natural time which govern all life on the Earth. The first cycle is the daily spinning of the Earth on its axis. This first cycle governs time as days and nights control our waking and sleeping. The second cycle is the twenty-eight day cycle of the moon as it changes the phases of its relationship with the Earth. The tidal cycle turns within us as the sexual cycle, obvious in healthy women, but also turning in men. The third cycle is the yearly cycle of the Earth’s orbit around the Sun. This cycle turns within us as we grow and change over the seasons. The forth cycle is the procession of the zodiac constellations through the spring equinox. This cycle was first introduced to the west in Einstein’s General Relativity and proven mathematically with Mercury. This forth natural cycle of time is the controller of ages of time and it controls the Spiritual evolution of our race.



The procession of the zodiac constellations through the spring equinox allows us to define ages of time. The Earth orbits the Sun to define a plane, which if carried outward meets the ring of stars known as the zodiac constellations. A birth sign is the zodiac constellation behind the sun when someone is born. As the Earth orbits the Sun over a year all twelve zodiac constellations are behind the Sun, as viewed from the Earth. The procession of the equinoxes is the rotating of the whole circle of the zodiac constellations backwards one sign every two thousand years or so. In the west topical astrology is used and since it is two thousand years old, it has slipped a sign in the past. In the east sidereal astrology is used and constantly changes over the ages, to remain astronomically correct. Spiritual Astrology is not concerned with birth signs, but is rather a transpersonal astrology that measures ages of time and their effect on civilization as a whole.



The spring equinox is when the sun crosses the equator and the length of the day equals the length of the night. In Spiritual astrology the spring equinox is the time of the year when the Living Light is flowing into and through the Earth at it’s fastest rate. The constellation behind the sun during the spring equinox determines the age. This writing was written during the cusp after the age of Pisces and before the age of Aquarius. The age changes every two thousand years or so, as the seasons rotate against the stars in the groups known as the zodiac constellations. All twelve ages proceed through the spring equinox in a complete cycle of about twenty-five thousand years. This complete cycle is called a Yuga or Sun Circle.



The constellation of each age impresses certain characteristics on that age. The constellation that the Earth balances from creates a specific curvature within our Earthly space-time. This imposes certain qualities upon the human race, as well as natural forces that govern our evolution. Each age achieves a specific and coherent step in the Spiritual evolution of humanity and comes to completion during the cusp following the age. Prophesy therefore speaks in terms of ages and the changing of the ages.
